DinnerBasket.Ca has been developed by the company Let’s Nurture. The project started with the goal to improve food sustainability. We thought about solutions using technology, advocacy and commerce and DinnerBasket.Ca is our commerce initiative. It is a locally made solution for locally produced food in Prince Edward Island and New Brunswick.
The founder, Ketan Raval, moved to Prince Edward Island in 2018 and is now living in Moncton, NB. Ketan is the CEO of Let’s Nurture and his company has developed technology solutions for a wide range of industries all around the world. DinnerBasket.Ca is a personal project and is his initiative for how to contribute to better living in our place of the world.
Assisting Ketan in this project are members of his Let’s Nurture team. Iain MacInnes is acting as Sales and Product Manager in Prince Edward Island. Iain has a keen interest in developing self sufficiency initiatives and helped develop the idea of DinnerBasket.Ca. Matthew Smith has been hired as a business development and marketing executive intern. Matthew has been helping with the vendor outreach on Prince Edward Island. And Shubham Mavani, a business development executive, has been assisting with the vendor outreach in Moncton, NB.
Together we hope that this enterprise will help local food producers increase their sales within the local economy and give consumers an easier opportunity to eat locally produced food. It’s better for the community and it is better for our environment.
